Join the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and the LAFD Foundation in getting Fired Up for Preparedness this September!

This special campaign centers around preparedness and what everyone can do to be safer during fire season. Just as our firefighters prepare for a multitude of emergencies, individuals and families must also prepare.

This month-long campaign promotes two ways to get involved:

• Give Thanks: Encourages individuals and local businesses to show appreciation and raise funds for tools and equipment for the LAFD.
• Get Ready: Urges Los Angeles residents to prepare for possible emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, active shooter situations, and more.

Every household that prepares will help strengthen our community readiness. 
Every business that participates will help provide essential tools for our firefighters.
