VALOR is the Los Angeles Fire Department’s annual awards ceremony honoring exemplary LAFD members for outstanding service above and beyond the call of duty. FUNDS RAISED: All proceed raised through corporate sponsorship, ticket sales, and the silent auction will benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation in purchasing life-saving tools and equipment for our LAFD firefighters.

This year’s anticipated funding priorities include:

• Structure Fire Helmets to replace all existing LAFD structure fire helmets to ensure the safety of our firefighters. 

• Fast Response Vehicle Converters to maximize the LAFD’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) fleet so they can accommodate the uptick in medical call responses.

• Body Armor Vests are used by firefighters when responding to domestic violence calls, stabbings, and shootings.
