Fire Station 2 proudly serves the historic East Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights.
From house fires to freeway collisions, the dedicated firefighters at Station 2 respond to dozens of emergencies each day.
To meet East L.A.'s near-endless emergency needs, firefighters and paramedics often work back-to-back 24-hour shifts.
Their extensive workload translates into substantial wear and tear on Station 2’s aging infrastructure, equipment, and appliances.
Fire Station 2 opened in 1987, and lacks the equipment, amenities, and accommodations of newer, larger fire stations.
Community donations can significantly help improve living and working conditions for firefighters at Station 2.
Every amount makes a difference. Donations help cover needed repairs and replace aging, worn-out equipment.
